Refund policy
At Picoti-Picota, we want you to be completely happy with your finds. Below are our sales and return terms — designed to make your shopping experience simple and transparent.
1. Product descriptions
We take great care in describing the condition of our items, whether new or pre-loved. By placing an order on our site, you acknowledge that second-hand items may show signs of normal wear consistent with their description.
2. Exchange & store credit policy
We offer a flexible policy on your purchases:
- Window: you have 15 days from the date you receive your online order — or from your in-store purchase — to request an exchange or store credit.
- Conditions: items must be returned in their original condition, unworn, with all tags still attached.
- Format: no cash refunds will be issued. Your store credit is valid in both our physical boutique and our online store, with no expiry date.
- Return shipping: return shipping is the customer's responsibility, except when the issue stems from an error on our part or a defect not disclosed at the time of purchase.
3. Final sales
Please note that items priced at $3 (clearance) are considered final sale. No exchanges, store credit, or refunds will be accepted on these items.
4. Shipping
We're committed to handling your orders with care.
- Timelines: 24–48 hours to prepare your order, plus 1–3 business days for delivery.
- Liability: while we do everything we can to ship your parcels quickly and pack them with care, Picoti-Picota is not responsible for delays, loss, or damage caused by carriers once the parcel has been handed over. That said, we'll do our best to support you and help you follow up with the carrier if any issue comes up with your delivery.
- Fees: shipping is $10, and free on orders over $100.
5. Legal warranty
Under Quebec's Consumer Protection Act, all products sold by Picoti-Picota carry a legal warranty. The item must match its description and function for normal use. If you receive an item that doesn't match its description or has a significant undisclosed defect, please contact us right away.
